We've already seen a few moving tips here but what about when you are packing for the move? Here are a few quick tips: - Keep your boxes relatively light. Under 40 pounds is probably ideal. - Wrap breakables in newspaper and then in bubble wrap as padding. Then if possible put them in plastic tubs/bins. This is a sure fire way to keep things intact! - Keep organized by marking boxes by room. Some people use color coding others use numbers. Do whatever you think is best for you. - An obvious tip is that you'd write 'fragile' on anything that's breakable Stick with this and you'll be a bit happier when all of your items arrive in one piece! |
