A few tips if you ever need to hire a real estate lawyer. When you go to look for an attorney be sure to find out some of the following information:
Does he/she own a rental property? In what cases does he/she have experience in... foreclosures, condo conversions? How many closings does he/she do per year? What kind of unusual transactions have you done recently? Most importantly don't just choose any old lawyer. You wouldn't expect a prospect to just work with any old real estate agent would you? As usual, these tips work well on a case by case basis. This advice should be tailored to your particular situation! :) |
