A new type of ¨Price is Right¨ computer game is being promoted (with an expected availability in 6-8 weeks), but it is not about guessing the prices of every day items, but is instead about guessing the price of a life piece of realty property. This new invention is from an organization called Realius, and is named Price Me Now(TM). For each property that they must take a guess on, players get to search through details of a property, see photos, go on a virtual tour, look at its location on a Google Map, and also look at homes recently sold in the surrounding areas. After this research, the player then makes an educated guess on the home price. These guesses are then scored based on the averaging of the listing price (it is very important to note that all of these properties are real properties that are currently listed) and all other previously submitted guesses. Some feel that this type of technology will be revolutionary in the world of realty. It can also be great advertising for realtors and/or realty companies as they can purchase spots in the game as coaches who offer advice on price estimates, etc. It is even speculated that they could license it to current brokers. Many feel that this will help to put more excitement in the world of realty and that it could become the newest gaming craze. |
