The owner of the Glendale Galleria was recently ordered to pay over 89 million dollars overall to a competing Developer Rick Caruso. Caruso was trying to open a Cheesecake Factory and claims that the Galleria owner tried to illegally block him. He claims that this delay was over 4 years long due to intimidation from the Galleria.

After court proceedings, jurors sided with Caruso and ordered that the fine be paid. This is a big sign to all competing out there, they better be above board as illegal action will not be tolerated and in the end the victims can win.
