Yet another merger is on the way. Network Communications, Inc. or NCI has recently taken over Apartment Rental Source magazine. This top notch magazine publishes a monthly list of apartments available for rent in Boston. The magazine will become a part of NCI´s already established Apartment Finder program and will be expanded to include over 109 more of NCI area’s in the U.S.
Apartment Finder is a valuable asset in its own right, having grown rapidly during the past 5 years to include over 36 new markets. In response to this newest development, Marcia Bollinger, Senior VP of Apartment Finder, says, “This acquisition firmly establishes the Apartment Finder brand as American’s fastest growing publication in the multi-family industry. For the newly acquired title, NCI will bring its strong online distribution and proprietary Web capabilities which will help the magazine grow to its full potential.”
Apartment Finder also has its own NCI website, www.ApartmentFinder.com, which allows users to search for apartments countrywide.
Other up and coming search engines for available apartments are rent.com (a subsidiary of eBay) and craigslist.org. |
