Mobile Search: What is this? At first glance I thought of mobile homes, nah..? So I took a closer look.

Resmedia.com is reporting how Randall Standard, founder and CEO of VoicePad®, is starting a new and innovative property connection system called Mobile Search.

Mobile Search is the idea of people, realtors, etc searching for property through their cell phone. Technology is adapting and right now there are around 260 million cell phones active in the US alone. The fact is, is that most people spend a good part of their life on their cell phone. What better way to start a new way to find and retrieve info? Now this search won’t be a generic broad banded search, instead it will be more for those looking for info on specific/exact properties.  It can give a great benefit to realtors, providing them with faster info which could make all the difference in a business where the competition can at times be cutthroat It is also remarkable to note, that for any mls listed property put into a search, the listing agent will immediately be notified of any requests for info made and be provided with the searcher’s data via email and text messaging. 

There will be 3 main methods of info delivery:

1. Phone (audio-based):  talking to a person about property through your cell phone as not all cell phones are equipped with text or wireless capacities. With this method, all one has to do is enter or say the property’s address or MLS, the information is then retrieved and converted into an automated response which can be delivered in a range of languages.
2. Text messaging
3. Web-enabled mobile browsers

The implications of this are limitless, and many feel this is the wave of the future, with the capability to blow all other methods of advertising and searching, out of the water.
