While this might not exactly be a pure real estate entry, it still seems relevant for what we talk about here.  A good friend once offered some general decorating advice, which perhaps one could use to help market their home, a finishing touch if you will.

This friend suggested that if you have decorations on your front porch or a group of flowers in your garden, that you always display them in odd numbers.  Perhaps it's a psychological thing? Maybe something from your subconscious? For example, if during the fall you'd like to have pumpkins on your doorstep, don't put out 4 or 6, instead try 3 or 5.  Apparently, this looks a bit more appealing, and dare I say could set your house out from the rest?
