People everywhere are thinking the same type of questions: Should I sell? Is this the best tine? Should I wait for the market to get better, or if I wait too long will it get worse?

These are certainly difficult things to ponder. You have to weigh your options. Do you have a real necessity to sell now, or can you wait a bit? Are you moving because of job relocation, or are you just ready for a change of scenery? Can your plans be postponed? Also, what time frame are you looking at for selling? Traditionally, the spring and summer time are when people actually want to do the physical act of moving, as that is when their children are on vacation and the weather is more suitable for moving. Therefore, from the month of February on are the best months to market a home for selling.

As far as the question of the state of the market, that is up in the air. There are those who look at the situation as a glass have full, where it will get better and it is fine to wait, and those who look at it half empty, the market is drying up, sell and do it now. Here one must analyze if they would take a loss by selling now and by how much of a loss would they take?  A good piece of advice is to try it and see, if you are not able to sell, you can always take it off the market and try further down the line. There are always going to be more questions then answers, and the only way to determine what is right is to dive in and think about it.
