As the tough market continues those of you that have your homes on the market know just how difficult it can be out there. If you take a step back an look at your house, perhaps you can see why it's been tough as well... Here are a few things that make selling a home really difficult: Air conditioning: No matter what's going on with global warming and excess electrical consumption, buyers want to have their new home to be cool and comfortable. If your home doesn't have air, although it's an expensive upgrade, it might attract enough buyers to make it worthwhile. Bathrooms: It seems that the more the merrier here. If you've got just one, you might be in trouble. Perhaps it's out of style to wait in line to use the facilities? Laundry Room: Where is yours? It was a good idea to put the washer and dryer in the basement to keep the noise level to a minimum, but who wants to trek down a few flights of stairs to wash clothes? Perhaps if you have space near the bedrooms in your home, you could consider converting that space into a laundry room? Does anyone else have any examples? Please let us know! |
