When shopping for a house, as we continue with the "Location" theme it's important to consider not just what is immediately around you but in the 'greater neighborhood' so to speak. Obviously you'll want such thing as grocery stores, dry cleaners, gas stations (of course!:)), a convenience store, among others. In addition, even though it's nice to live in a quiet part of town, also consider how far you are from local transit arteries. Think about having to drive a mile and a half just to get to begin your trek to a commercial center. Depending on how often you'd use it, proximity to mass transit might also be a concern and something for you to consider as well. |
