To wrap up the series on Location, we'll discuss the best places to look in the neighborhood when you are looking to buy.

There are some basic guidelines that you can follow.  First try to get a home near the center of the neighborhood.  Try, unless it's your thing, to avoid a busy street or a property that backs up to a busy street.  That part should be obvious.

Less obvious is the idea that you don't want your home to be on a street that's a artery between 2 busier streets.  This will create a significant amount of thru traffic and could lead to congestion that you didn't count on.
