A more obvious aspect of location is what kind of crime happens and how often. Local crime statistics are easy to come by and you can compare them to other nearby communities. How about fire and police coverage? Also pay attention to the local park district if there is one. If you've got a family or not, have a look to see if the park district seems up to par with where you currently live or if not, better!! Not quite as obvious are activities for senior citizens...if you are over 65 you'll want the community to have something for you as well! The best way to find out about all of the information is to contact your agent. If your agent is a good one, he/she will have this information for you. |
