Many think that the outside of a house/property is its biggest selling point as people are very visually minded. If you go to see a home and the outside is in complete disrepair, many will not even venture inside. In these days of life on the go, many make decisions on impulse and that 5 seconds outside of the home could be a deal breaker..in a good or bad way,

There are many simple things that can be done to improve the exterior view. It also helps to put plants, a little yard decoration (little being key, nothing too extravagant). Another big key is to tidy up; it doesn't matter if you have organized piles of X things near the home, in the end a pile is clutter no matter what it is. James W. Hughes, a professor/housing expert with Rutgers University. spoke about yards and ways to best sell a home, he said that "Anything that shows your house could be made more spacious - despite your small yard - could be a strong selling point in your favor,".

He also pointed out that it would be a good idea to let potential buyers know about points for expansion. If your yard is small?, do you have any neighbors willing to sell adjoining land? These are all great things to be able to inform to a potential buyer and it could net you a deal right away. It never hurts to do a little research, organization, or tidying up.
