We've been talking a lot things that you perhaps have to think about when buying a house that will ultimate affect how  you'll be able to sell it in the future.  Another factor here is how many bedrooms the home has.  Let's think about it for a moment...

Most buyers have 2-3 children correct? That translates into a 3-4 bedroom home on average (1 room for the parents and 1 for each child let's say).  Now a 5 bedroom house while nice a roomy, might put off a sector of buyers that say "What will I do with that extra room?" or "Well that extra room that I won't use puts the home out of my price range."

That said, sound advice might be to stick within 'the norms' when buying don't you think?
