As you've probably read here, you've seen a few tips about selling by owner.  It can be a nice thing if it works out ok, but can also be a pain in the nect.

The fact of matter is that only about one out of ten people that are selling by owner acutally complete the transaction on their own.  This is obviously dictated by the region of the country and even the part of the neighborhood/town that the property is in.

Be prepared to accept a lower price (you'll save on commission though, so do the math)!
