A new site has been developed which helps users to buy and sell a home directly through the internet, without traditional realty assistance. This site, called RealUmbrella, was created by Bryant Katzen and Michael Updegraff.

With prices ranging from $349-$949, sellers can list through the site and look at other listings made there to help them come up with an asking price for their own property. RealUmbrella will then post their listing on sites like Zillow. With the listings, editing can be done at anytime and photos and property descriptions can be made. The site also puts out online property flyers and provides browsers with the school/neighborhood demographics near the listed property, as well as a direct link to Google Earth. A schedule is provided for making open house appointments for potential buyers. Contracts (pertaining to each state law) will also be available: allowing buyers to make offers, arrange financing, and take care of inspections, etc. Electronic signatures are also allowed, so again, everything steps A-Z, can be done online.

Katzen is realistic and knows that it may take some time for the site to start reaping in successes, but he hopes for them to pull in around 150-350 listings per month

For more information, the direct site can be reached at http://www.realumbrella.com.
