Here's a sneaky little tip for you...

Before you close you definitely want to revisit the property to be 100% sure that it is in the same condition that it was when you made your offer.  You'll want to double check to see if anything was damaged from the time you made your offer until the present day. 

This will also give you the chance to make sure that any previously agreed upon repairs were made in the meantime.

This is an important 'clause' to have in your contract/offer when you purchase the property - the right to revisit the property.
